State vs. NR

The Client was arrested for Fleeing or Eluding a Law Enforcement Officer, Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana when the Client allegedly did not stop when directly by law enforcement while driving on a highway. When the Client finally stopped, law enforcement located marijuana in his possession and determined that he was under the influence. Attorney Anthony Rickman provided proof that the Defendant possessed a valid prescription for the marijuana and that the Client was not under the influence and the State immediately dropped the charges. The Client was accepted into a diversion program for the remaining felony charge and the charge was dismissed upon completion of the program.
