State vs. RW

The Client was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance when the Client was stopped by an officer who noticed an odor of marijuana emitting from the car. The Client possessed a valid prescription for medical marijuana and was diagnosed with State IV Pancreatic Cancer. Even though the Client provided her prescription to the officer, the Client was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. Attorney Anthony Rickman immediately presented the Client’s medical documentation and prescription information to the State and the State dismissed the charge.
