State vs. VR
The Client was arrested for Child Neglect after law enforcement received a call from a neighbor who found the Client’s two grandchildren crying outside of their home. The Client and her family members had a misunderstanding as to who would be watching the Client’s grandchildren and the Client allegedly left the children alone for hours when she thought the children were to be watched by a family member. Even though the charge was a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in a Florida State prison, Attorney Anthony Rickman convinced the State to not formally file the charge and instead allow the Client to participate in a diversion program. Upon successful completion of the program, the case will be dismissed.
